Dunst, Hudson and Wilson to direct short films for Glamour Reel Moments - July 2007

DailyIndia.com Actresses Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson and Rita Wilson are reportedly set to turn directors of short films. The three will shoot movies for Glamour Reel Moments, based on real life stories submitted to the American magazine Glamour. Dunst, Hudson and Wilson have each been given around 500,000 dollars to shoot their movies for the magazine’s third annual ‘Reel Moments’. The actresses are set to follow the footsteps of actress Jennifer Aniston who directed a short film ‘Room 10' with pal Andrea Buchanan for Glamour Reel Moments in aid of charity, based on the real-life story of Glamour magazine reader Colleen Goldrick. It looks like the three will have to gear up, for they have just three days to shoot the film. The actresses picked up their stories after the magazine’s January issue asked readers to post stories about a life event which made them feel strong, wise or happy. 28-year-old Hudson has cast her mother actress Goldie Hawn’s long-time beau actor Kurt Russell and child star Dakota Fanning in her film which is called "Cutlas". The movie is based on a true story written by a Glamour reader and is a '70s-period father-daughter story. Wilson has signed up actress Jeanne Tripplehorn and actress/stand-up comedian Aisha Tyler to star in her film. The films will be premiered on 9 October in Los Angeles where a panel will choose the winner. Aniston’s film won the Best Short Award at this year’s CineVegas Festival. Other actresses who have participated in previous years include Gwyneth Paltrow and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Kate and Chris Call It Quits - 14 Aug 2006

Kate ET has confirmed that superstar couple KATE HUDSON and her husband, BLACK CROWES frontman CHRIS ROBINSON, are separating after nearly six years of marriage. Kate, 27, and Chris, 39, became the proud parents of baby RYDER RUSSELL on January 7, 2004. A year later, Chris escorted Kate to the 'Skeleton Key' premiere, and she gushed to ET about motherhood and married life on the road.
"[Ryder's] great. It's so much fun! He's getting so big and it's happening so fast. We don't spend much time in Los Angeles. We spend a lot of time in New York, but we're pretty much on the road experiencing our life."
The couple wed on New Year's Eve, 2000, at the Colorado home of Kate's famous mom, GOLDIE HAWN (and her longtime partner, KURT RUSSELL) after a whirlwind meeting and seven-month courtship.
"We hung out together in New York, I went home for my birthday and I came back three days later, and I brought three huge suitcases and my dog and I just moved in," she told ET back then.

Kate Hudson - Perfect Marriage Doesn't Exist - 12 Aug 2006

Kate Hudson says the perfect marriage doesn’t exist.
The ‘You, Me and Dupree’ actress - who tied the knot with Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson in 2000 - insists love is not enough to ensure a marriage survives.
She told Elle magazine: "I don’t like this idea of the perfect marriage. People can be in love madly and deeply and go through so much and still end up together. That’s what you hope for."
The actress - who has two year son Ryder Russell with Chris - also warned prospective newlyweds that married life is not easy.
"No one should get married if they think it’s going to be a fairytale."
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old has slammed the British newspaper that published the photos of supermodel Kate Moss taking drugs because she thinks it will encourage fans to do the same.

Perfect Marriages Are Fairy Tales: Hudson

The 'You, Me and Dupree star, who often gives advice in interviews on how to keep husbands happy, admits that she herself is clueless about to make for an ideal union.
"I don't like this idea of the perfect marriage. It doesn't exist. "People can be in love madly and deeply and go through so much and still end up with each other and that's what you hope for", Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
"But no one should get married if they think it's going to be a fairy tale", she added.
Meanwhile, the 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' pair Matthew McConaughey and Hudson will be reuniting for Warner Bros.' adventure comedy 'Fool's Gold', according to recent Hollywood reports.
